Bonnaroo’s Funkiest Dancer is a dance competition for Bonnaroovians the world over. We’re not looking for a “cool” dancer. We’re not looking for a “hip” dancer. We seek the raw, uninhibited, homegrown funkiest dancer that ever was.
And we know who you are. Behind that humble facade lies a spirit so full of pure funk that every shake of the hips, every rattle of the waist, every roll and undulation reverberates across the universe, and it brings this little blue dot a little closer to perfection. So, why hold out? Why deny humanity that gift?
So why would you want to be Bonnaroo’s Funkiest Dancer? The eternal glory and fame, obviously. But there are also a few cool prizes. First, Bonnaroo’s Funkiest Dancer will get a chance to perform at Bonnaroo on the Main Stage. That means you’re going to get VIP treatment and a whole lot of access to the festival. Don’t be lonely at the top. Bring your funkiest friend along, and you’ll both receive round trip travel and hotel accommodations. Bonnaroo’s Funkiest Dancer will be crowned with the Funkiest Dancer Dance Belt of Golden Glory, exactly what it sounds like minus actual gold. In addition to that, you’ll get all the swag you can eat, a merch shopping spree up to $250, and some other crazy Bonnaroo fodder. Who knows how deep this treasure trove goes!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER, WIN OR CLAIM A PRIZE. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE AN ENTRANT'S CHANCES OF WINNING.
The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival ("Festival") 2014 "Funkiest Dancer" contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Axis Sponsorships, LLC ("Sponsor").
This is a skill based competition in which participants shall compete by submitting an audiovisual recording ("Video") of their funkiest dance performance using a song selection from the list of authorized music that has been pre-cleared by Sponsor for these purposes as outlined in http://www.funkiestdancer.com ("Contest Website"). The Contest winner receives the title of the 2014 Festival Funkiest Dancer and a prize including roundtrip transportation and guest passes for two (2) to the Festival and the potential to perform a dance routine at the Festival. Select submissions will also be chosen for upload on the Contest Website and for use in a highlight reel to be uploaded around the announcement of the winner.
The Contest begins on February 19, 2014 at 9:00 P.M., E.S.T. and entry in the Contest ends on April 15, 2014 at 11:59 P.M. E.S.T. ("Contest Entry Period").

Sponsor is not obligated to use your Entry for any purpose, even if you are selected as a winner and reserves the right to take down any Entry for any reason at any time.
Round 1: JUDGING FOR FINALISTS: On or about April 16, 2014, a panel of judges comprised of representatives selected by Sponsor ("Judges") will review the eligible Entries received during the Contest Entry Period and select up to ten (10) Entries with the ten (10) highest scores (but no more than one (1) entry per Skype ID) to become the finalists (each a "Finalist" and collectively the "Finalists") based equally on the following judging criteria ("Judging Criteria"): Creativity, Enthusiasm, and Originality. In the event of a tie, the Judges will break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Judges for Originality as the potential Finalist. In the event a tie remains, the tied entries will be judged by an additional tie-breaking judge, using the Judging Criteria, to determine which of the tied entrants will be the potential Finalist. Sponsor reserves the right to pick fewer than ten (10) Finalists (or none at all) or to extend the Contest Entry Period if the Contest does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Round 2: PUBLIC VOTING FOR WINNER: Beginning on or about May 1, 2014, the Finalists' Entries will be posted on the Contest Website and the Bonnaroo Facebook page (FB Page") for public viewing and voting. On or about May 1, 2014 at 12:01 A.M. E.S.T. until May 15, 2014 at 11:59 P.M. E.S.T, (the "Finalist Voting Period"), visitors to the Contest Website and FB Page may each vote one (1) time for his or her favorite Finalist(s) according to the Judging Criteria, voting rules, and procedures established by the Sponsor, which will be posted on the Contest Website. Votes are counted by the number of "Likes" that each Finalist Video receives; provided that no voter may vote for any one (1) Finalist more than one (1) time on each of the Contest Website and FB Page (for a maximum of two (2) votes for any one Finalize by any one (1) voter). The Finalist receiving the most eligible votes during the Finalist Voting Period, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the winner of the Contest ("Winner"), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the Contest Website and these Official Rules. In the event of a tie, ties will be broken in the same manner as described above with regards to Finalists selection. The Finalist Voting Period, voting rules and procedures and voting methods are subject to change, at the Sponsor sole discretion, and any changes will be posted on the Website.
Vote tampering or any other actions that subvert or are intended to subvert the voting process or are intended to impair the integrity of the voting process in any way is prohibited and shall be void. Entrants are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering inducements to prospective voters or using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, email addresses, or any other methods, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion, to nullify all votes obtained via such means and to disqualify responsible entrants from the Contest.
Decisions of the Sponsor and Judges are final and binding with respect to all matters related to the Contest.
NOTIFICATION: The potential Winner will be notified via email or Skype at the Skype ID or email address used to submit the Entry within seven (7) days following winner selection. If there is a dispute as to who is the potential Winner, we will consider the potential Winner to be the authorized account holder of the Skype ID used to enter the Contest. Sponsor is not obligated to leave voice mail, answering machine, or other message. Proof of age and residency will be required and Sponsor may also require a background check on the potential Winner and reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person based on such background check if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that awarding the prize to such potential Winner might reflect negatively on Sponsor. Potential Winner will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability, tax documents and, except where prohibited, publicity release within three (3) days of such notification. Noncompliance within this time period, with these Official Rules or the return of or inability to deliver the Prize or Prize notification may result in disqualification and, at Sponsors' discretion, and time permitting, an alternate potential Winner may be determined by selecting the Finalist (if any) with the next highest number of votes.
There will be one (1) prize awarded ("Prize") to the Winner who will receive a "belt of golden glory", the option to perform a Festival choreographed dance number at the Festival and a trip for two (2) to Manchester, TN to attend the 2014 Festival scheduled to take place from June 12-15, 2014. The Prize will consist of the following: (i) roundtrip coach airfare for Winner and his or her one (1) guest ("Guest") between a major serviced airport in the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia nearest to Winner's primary home and Nashville or Tullahoma, TN airports ) (if Winner resides within a 200 mile radius of Manchester, TN, airfare for Winner and Guest will be replaced with ground transportation; (ii) roundtrip ground transportation between the airport in Nashville or Tullahoma, TN and the hotel; (iii) four (4) nights hotel accommodations (1 standard room based on double occupancy, room and tax only); (iv) Festival catering for Winner and Guest; (v) one (1) pair of guest passes to the Festival to be used by Winner and Guest; and (vi) one (1) $250.00 (retail value) gift card for Festival owned and branded merchandise. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Prize is $3,500 (the value of the Prize may vary depending upon the actual cost of air transportation from point of departure and accommodations at time of reservation). In the event the ARV of a prize is different from the actual retail value of that prize, the difference will not be awarded in cash.

All expenses not outlined herein, including but not limited to, travel insurance; gratuities, beverages; local and long distance telephone calls; internet; incidental expenses; taxes and transportation from Winner's home and the departure airport, are solely the responsibility of Winner and his or her Guest. The Prize Winner and Guest bear all risks of inclement weather. Tickets lost or stolen cannot be replaced. Artist's concert times and dates are subject to change. The resale or attempted resale of a ticket is prohibited and if discovered will result in the ticket being voided without the award of any substitute prize, exchange or payment of any cash equivalent value. The ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the express written consent of Sponsor.
By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees for entrant and for entrant's heirs, executors, and administrators (a) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Skype and their respective officers, directors, shareholders and employees (collectively, "Released Parties") and Facebook from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from such entrant's participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of Prize or any portion thereof (including any travel related thereto); (b) to indemnify Released Parties from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Contest and to hereby acknowledge that Released Parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to Prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by Prize supplier that are sent along with Prize; (c) if selected as a Winner, to the posting of such entrant's name on Website and the use by Released Parties of such name, voice, image, and/or likeness for publicity, promotional, and advertising purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known, throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, permission, or approval, and, upon request, to the giving of consent, in writing, to such use; and (d) to be bound by these Official Rules and to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error therein or in the Contest itself, and to be bound by all decisions of the Sponsor, which are binding and final. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to entrants' or to any other person's computer relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with the Contest. Released Parties are not responsible for telecommunications, network, electronic, technical, or computer failures of any kind; for inaccurate transcription of entry information; for errors in any promotional or marketing materials or in these Official Rules; for any human or electronic error; or for Entries that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, damaged, or returned. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion any person they believe has intentionally violated these Official Rules. If the actual, alleged or publicized conduct of the Winner is illegal or, if any Winner has been charged with or convicted of a crime, or in Sponsor's sole discretion is otherwise grossly offensive or violates generally accepted standards of behavior (including, but not limited to, illicit drug use or public intoxication) or otherwise leads the Sponsor to believe or conclude that the public association with the prize winner subjects Sponsor to ridicule, contempt, controversy, embarrassment or scandal, Sponsor in its sole discretion may disqualify the Winner and the Winner will no longer be eligible for a Prize in this Contest.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest or any element thereof (including, without limitation, these Official Rules) for any reason (including, without limitation, in the event of any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules). In the event of cancellation, modification, or suspension, Sponsor reserve the right to select Finalists and/or Winner (as applicable) from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the event warranting such cancellation, modification, or suspension, based on the Judging Criteria above. Notice of such cancellation, modification, or suspension will be posted at Contest Website. Sponsor may prohibit any entrant or potential entrant from participating in the Contest, if such entrant or potential entrant shows a disregard for these Official Rules; acts with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Sponsor, or Sponsor agents or representatives; or behaves in any other disruptive manner (as determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion).
